Pastor Phil Kiecker, head pastor of Gethsemane Lutheran Church leads Precious Lambs and its teachers as Precious Lambs is a ministry of Gethsemane Church. Pastor is often available at drop off and pick up times, enjoys reading animated stories to the children, and leads Chapel for all students each Friday.
Julianna Kiecker is the director and also teaches Spanish Special to all ages each week.
Bridget, assistant director, is currently working towards her associates in early childhood education. She works with the children weekly during Art History lessons.
Erin is our Head Cook, making fresh and healthy meals and snacks for all children.
Cindy, Assistant Cook makes sure we have fresh ingredients each day and helps get meals and snacks prepared.
Kathy teaches Sign Language to all of the children and helps with specialty science projects like hatching chicks in the spring and preparing a butterfly garden!
Anesia is our Assistant Teacher and Music Teacher! When she’s not working with the 3 year old class, she teaches music to all of the classes, infant – PreK4.
Roman teaches Weekly Readers (Literacy Skill building) to PreK3 and PreK4 each week.
Terri is our in-house Special Education expert! She also teaches Literacy to PreK3 and PreK4 each week.
Our STEAM studio! Each class has an opportunity to use this area for STEAM work each week.
Our Gym! This large space is an asset for rainy days, weekly Gym time for each class, classes like “Soccer Shots,” and special events.
Our Activity Rooms in PreK3 and 4 allow for a quiet space for teaching Specials and other small group activities.
We worked together with the Natural Learning Initiative (NLI) and POD (Preventing Obesity by Design) to create two playgrounds that inspire children to connect with nature, use all of their gross motor skills, and become scientists about the world around them. (This photo does not include many of the structures that have been added)
Precious Lambs families are invited to be a part of our larger Gethsemane family as well, and children often have an opportunity to sing in church and participate in special events!
